The yard sloped at quite an angle along the back of the house, but it was no match for a bit of landscape engineering with a two level, meticulously crafted retaining wall system. Where the home ended abruptly before, the new outdoor living space flows beautifully and functionally. Below a key member of the home team surveys the somewhat barren “before” situation.
The Sarvis family selected a Latham Fiberglass Bermuda model pool with varying depth of 3’6″ to 5′-6″ paired with a Latham Shasta Spillover spa. Both feature a Night Sky Crystal finish. The famous rolling farmland of East Tennessee stretches into the background, a perfect backdrop for this home in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
The hardscaping includes silver travertine decking for an elegant natural look. The elevated spa uses a Ledgestone skirting with matched travertine top. Other popular features include a waterfall overflow for that relaxing soundscape and in-pool lighting for an stunning night-time illumination. Fiberglass pools are a great choice for lots of reasons, not the least the integrated seating, tanning ledges and entry stairs.
